Антиблокировочная система тормозов (ABS) в течение последних 20 лет получила широкое распространение. Разберемся, для чего она нужна. Предположим, что на дорогу внезапно выбежала собака (или другое животное). Реакция среднестатистического водителя будет такой: тормоз в пол. Это нормально для непрофессионала. Ведь все происходит на уровне подсознания. Для остановки автомобиля используется педаль тормоза, чем сильнее давишь, тем быстрее остановится автомобиль — следовательно, нужно «втоптать» ее как следует. А что в результате? Вы выехали на скользкую, заснеженную площадку. Сейчас попробуем спровоцировать занос. Это упражнение универсальное и подходит как для переднего, так и для заднего привода.
Начните движение по кругу. Радиус должен быть около 25−30 метров. С каждым кругом наращивайте скорость, не перестарайтесь — 40−60 км/ч вполне хватит. Чем выше скорость, тем ближе вы подходите к грани скольжения. Если у вас заднеприводный автомобиль, выжмите сцепление; если переднеприводный, то делать этого не нужно. В момент поворота руля затяните «ручник» и сразу же отпустите его. Как только задние колеса окажутся заблокированы, начнется занос — вы это сразу почувствуете. Сразу же нужно «поймать» автомобиль — руль нужно вывернуть в сторону заноса и сразу вернуть обратно — машина начнет выправляться. На переднеприводном автомобиле газ сбрасывать при этом не следует. Повторите это упражнение несколько раз. Помните: чем быстрее вы вывернете руль в сторону заноса и затем вернете его обратно, тем меньше будет занос и тем быстрее вы вернете автомобиль на изначальную траекторию. читать дальше »

Недавно я наблюдал такую картинку: впереди идущий автомобиль резко трогается с места, не показав поворот, обгоняет автомобиль, идущий в попутном направлении, потом возвращается в свой ряд, резко тормозит и криво паркуется у тротуара. Водитель этого авто права явно получил в кредит — вместе с автомобилем... К сожалению, такое случается сплошь и рядом, уже не удивляя водителей, которые часто ездят по городу.
А рассказываю все это я вот к чему. Прежде чем соваться на бездорожье или горный серпантин, нужно научиться ездить по городу. Это значительно проще будет, хотя и тут хватает нюансов. Нужно отшлифовать навыки этой «легкой» езды до автоматизма. Отшлифуем — пойдем дальше. Нормальная последовательность обучения — от простого к сложному.
