Помните, если не вы в кого-то въедете, то кто-то въедет в вас. Когда вы научитесь водить зимой, тогда вы сократите вероятность аварии на 50%, исключив вариант «въезжания»в кого-то.
Хранить машину зимой лучше в гараже, а не на стоянке — в нем теплее. Если гаража нет, то можно арендовать его на зиму. Кстати, если надумаете продавать машину, обязательно укажите «зимой не эксплуатировалась, гаражное хранение». Это будет ощутимым плюсом. Зимой дороги посыпаются солью и прочей гадостью, которая разъедает «пузо» вашего автомобиля. А в гараже не так заметен перепад температур, поэтому все уплотнительные резинки и прочие многострадальные элементы кузова сохраняются лучше.
Перед постановкой машины в гараж (на зиму) проверьте давление в шинах, чтобы, когда вы придете через месяц, они не оказались спущены. Можно даже накачать больше, чем обычно, — например, 2,5 атмосферы. Хотя если у вас есть автомобильный компрессор (стоит сущие пустяки — 10 баксов), то можете себя не утруждать: накачаете шины, когда придете весной.
Ставить машину на «ручник» не нужно — лучше на первую или заднюю передачу. Магнитолу можно забрать домой, а вот аккумулятор не стоит. Да, он плохо переносит зиму, но учтите, что многие современные автомобили оснащены иммоби-лайзером. Когда вы снимаете надолго аккумулятор, сведения о метках иммобилайзера стираются, и вы просто не заведете авто до тех пор, пока электрик не пропишет в памяти иммобилайзера ваши метки (или ваши ключи, если метка встроена в ключ).Вполне вероятно, что когда вы придете через месяц или два за машиной, то обнаружите, что аккумулятор разрядился. Тогда ничего не поделаешь — придется его снять и поставить на подзарядку. Не бойтесь, за сутки (пока аккумулятор будет заряжаться) с иммобилайзером ничего не случится.
Если же вы решили ездить зимой, то кроме покупки зимних шин, не забудьте заменить масло на более вязкое и залить незамерзающую жидкость в бачок стеклоомывателя. Более вязкое масло облегчит пуск двигателя в мороз и уменьшит износ его деталей. При замене масла обратите внимание на его рабочую температуру. Если масло замерзает при — 25 °С, то при −27 °С вы машину уже не заведете — масло-то замерзло. Ну, а по поводу незамерзающей жидкости в бачке стеклоомывателя вряд ли стоит вдаваться в пояснения.
Если вы часто ездите зимой, а машина стоит на стоянке, подумайте: может, стоит установить систему предпускового обогрева автомобиля, например, Webasto Да, она стоит 600−700 долларов, но представьте: вы приходите на стоянку, а двигатель уже заведен и прогрет, стекла разморожены, дверь авто нормально открывается, и вы садитесь в уже прогретый автомобиль. Поверьте, это стоит тех 700 долларов!
