Резина для зимних шин более жесткая, поэтому при низких температурах она быстрее «дубеет» и теряет свои сцепные свойства. Переходить на зимнюю резину нужно, когда температура воздуха ниже +10 "С. Как правило, это конец октября. Но октябрь и ноябрь — это еще осень, и снега обычно еще нет. Зато часто идут дожди. Получается, что шины M+S имеют лучшее сцепление с дорогой, но плохо вытесняют воду, поэтому забудьте о своих драйверских амбициях в это время. Если же не получается, то лучше поставить машину в гараж или на стоянку и ездить на такси — так будет безопаснее для вас и для окружающих.
На некоторых шинах, обычно отечественного производства, красуется надпись «All seasons», что означает «внесезонные шины». И продавцы распинаются, рассказывая о том, что на такой резине можно ездить круглый год. Можно, но на отечественных же авто. Поэтому никакой «внесе-зонки» на иномарках быть не должно.Совет. Как хранить шины (например, зимой — летние, а летом — зимние)? Если шины без дисков, то шины нужно хранить вертикально. Если шины на дисках (допустим, у вас два комплекта), то нужно хранить горизонтально — стопкой. Желательно уменьшить давление воздуха в шинах.
Но какой бы ни был у вас протектор, помните: на мокрой дороге (я уже не говорю о скользкой) тормозной путь будет больше. Вот небольшой пример. Есть обычный автомобиль Audi A4, «обутый» в шины от Dunlop. При скорости 50 км/ч тормозной путь составил 11,7 м на сухом асфальте, а на мокром (на том же участке) — 14,2 м. Разница составила 2,5 м. При скорости 60 км/ч разница была уже 3,1 метра, а при 100 км/ч — 8,7 м. Даже 2,5 метра — существенное расстояние. Вы рассчитываете остановиться в метре от попутного авто (которое остановилось на светофоре), а вас проносит лишние 1,5 м. В результате разбиты два автомобиля.
А теперь поговорим о том, как бороться с аквапланированием. Для начала нужно почувствовать, что это такое. На пустой дороге (важно, чтобы рядом не было машин) попробуйте на приличной скорости — около 80 км/ч — въехать в лужу. Только для начала убедитесь, что это не мини-озера, иначе за возможный гидроудар я ответственности не несу. При выборе скорости тоже не перестарайтесь, а то можете войти в штопор и перевернуться через крышу, но это уже «высший пилотаж».
При въезде в лужу на большой скорости вода не успевает вытесняться протектором, и под ним образуется водяная пленка, по которой автомобиль скользит, как на льду. Создается впечатление, что автомобиль оторвался от земли и «парит» над ней. Это и есть аквапланирование. Понятно, что чем выше скорость, тем больше шансов вылететь с дороги при неудачном въезде в лужу. Но аквапланирование случается и при 40 км/ч. Возможность аквапланирования, как и его последствия, зависят от многих факторов — от качества и износостойкости резины, ее ширины (чем шире резина, тем лучше она «планирует», то есть тем опаснее на ней въезжать в лужу), состояния амортизаторов. Конечно, играет роль и дорожное покрытие.
Чтобы уберечься от аквапланирования, постоянно следите за износом резины. Если глубина протектора составляет меньше 4 мм, шину нужно менять. На такой резине велика вероятность сорваться в штопор. Если же заменить резину нет возможности, тогда соблюдайте скоростной режим. Перед въездом
в лужу сбросьте газ. Речи об обгоне по лужам и быть не может! А если вам после выезда из лужи придется применить экстренное торможение... Помочь смогут только хорошие шины, а если они уже изношены, то не поможет никто и ничто.
Что делать, если вы почувствовали скольжение в луже? Новичок обычно пытается вывернуть руль в сторону заноса с целью выровнять автомобиль. Однако этого делать не нужно — в воде ваши старания напрасны, а когда колеса зацепятся за твердое покрытие, автомобиль понесет в другую сторону. И если новичок не справится с повторным заносом, то автомобиль может опрокинуться. Вывод: не нужно спешить выравнивать машину в луже, нужно сначала выехать из нее.
Знаете, какая разница между новичком, опытным водителем и профи? Новичок попадет в опасную ситуацию и не сможет из нее выбраться, опытный «выйдет сухим из воды», а профи — просто спрогнозирует опасную ситуацию и не попадет в нее вообще. Вот и я вам советую: гораздо проще сбавить перед лужей скорость, чем потом справляться с двойным заносом.
Если все же вы попали в глубокую лужу, то после выезда из нее нужно просушить тормоза. Для этого слегка нажмите педаль тормоза и проедьте метров 100. После этого ваши колодки просохнут и можно будет тормозить как обычно. В самой же луже тормозить не нужно. Если же приходится тормозить в луже, то нужно задействовать двигатель — как на гололеде.
Итак, давайте подытожим. Чтобы не оказаться в роли автомобильного акробата, вам нужно помнить следующее:

• Выбирайте шины с правильным протектором, хорошо вытесняющим воду.
• Следите за износом протектора. Если протектор меньше 4 мм, шины — в топку!
• Перед въездом в лужу сбавляйте скорость.
• В луже лучше не тормозить и не пытаться выровнять машину, если ее немного занесло.
• Если приходится тормозить в луже, то нужно делать это с помощью двигателя.
• После выезда из лужи нужно несколько раз нажать на тормоза (только не до упора!!), чтобы просушить тормозные колодки.
